    The development on Mount Qasioun is announced as twelve named components, among them a 2.4 km cable car running from Umayyad Park to the summit across three stations.

    At the announcement, infrastructure work across the site was reported to be more than 80% complete. Infrastructure is not the same thing as an open venue, and no component was reported as receiving visitors.
